Trees, trees, and more trees. Thats probably the first thing you’ll notice as soon as you enter Boston’s Public Garden. There’s a reason for all the trees as well! The public garden is home to over 40 DIFFERENT types of trees such as the Weeping Willow and Yellowwood tree. Trees are the only thing the public garden has to offer, there’s plenty more thing for you to do there.
If you’re not looking at all the different types of trees you’ll probably notice that there are people in the pond on swan-shaped boats. Swan boat tours are a he part of the public garden! One of the main reason for the success of the boat right is because its only 15 minutes long so you can get in and get right out in no time. If you’re lucky enough, one of the actual swans surrounding the pond may swim up to you looking for food. If you’re at the garden, it is definatly worth the quick little ride.
Anther fun thing to do at Boston’s Public Garden is ice skate! Remember that pond I talked about earlier? Well when it’s winter time, that pond freezes over and turn it into an ice skating area right in the middle of the garden! Don’t feel scared if you’re not the best out there because chances are, there’s someone worse than you out there but its at least worth the experience. After your ice skate, find one of the coffee stands and get a fresh cup of hot chocolate; you won’t regret it.
